Games Workshop has begun casting all of their older pewter adaptations in resin. I truly have had a couple of of these Finecast editions and have had extreme considerations with high quality. Overall dissatisfied with the standard of this product.

My native sport store had the older Metal box sets of these Vanguard veterans and I picked one up. I had little or no problems with these editions. Only the standard clipping of mold nipples and the filing of of some MINOR mold traces. Now the most important drawback is problably seeking to connect them to their bases with ONLY glue. I suggest pinning them to their bases.
But total the METAL Vanguard Veterans had been far sophisticated to the FINECAST sterngaurd box. So I imagine the FINECAST vangaurd veterans are as drawbackatic as their sternguard counterparts.

The finecast on these editions is sufficient at perfect. They must have left it as plastic. Their transfer to finecast is only slightly successful. Way too many mis-casts.
