The VEXplorer is a nifty little equipment. Nice tires, higher motors than VEX, and pre-assembled parts. You can argue if the pre-packaged assemblies really enable pupils to "engineer" the machine; or if they handiest dumb-down the package.
Regardless, where the equipment is really missing is the lack to do any applicationming. Without with the ability to software, this is now not a robotic; it's a remote-controlled automobile. After taking delivery of this we (my 12 12 months outdated nephew and myself) had this factor put together and ready for action in about 2 hours.
I would not call it a roboticics machine due to the fact that it's in reality faraway regulateled and not roboticic via any definition.
